Model 7860 for Sliding Glass Doors

Typically, sliding panels have the right panel on the front track typical of jewelry case locks.  If the left panel is on the front track either reverse the panels, if possible (otherwise the numbers on the ratchet lock are installed upside down).

• Step 1. Attach the ratchet bar (3) to rear panel as shown at above.

• Step 2. Tighten the two thumb screws. (4)

• Step 3. Close the right sliding panel.

• Step 4. Slide the lock body (5) on the ratchet bar until secure against the right panel.

• NOTE: To reset the combination in the future, the combination must be set to current opening code prior to turning the change screw.

Model 7861 for Hinged Glass Doors

Step 1. Attach to edge of glass with rear of glass door as shown above and to right. Tighten the two thumb screws. (3)   Can be used in horizontal or vertical installations.

Step 2. Close the door and slide the ratchet bar (4) so that it slides behind door frame.(5)  Scramble Dials to lock.  An optional slotted strike can also be used for installations without a frame (See image below).

NOTE: To reset the combination in the future, the combination must be set to current opening code prior to turning the change screw.



 

Attach to edge of glass hinged door and tighten thumb screws.

Close door and push the ratchet down so that it rests behind door frame.
